LONDON: Manchester City will not sell Raheem Sterling even if the club manages to bring in Jack Grealish to the Etihad.

City are hoping the 26 -year -old can finalize his future with the club, although further negotiations are needed after initial talks last season.

However, City did not panic because the England star, who was the hero of the Three Lions squad until reaching the Euro 2020 final, still has a two -year contract remaining.

Sterling is currently one of City’s highest paid players at around 300,000 pounds a week.

He was a key player in manager Pep Guardiola’s plans despite struggling with a precarious performance at the end of last season’s competition.

After his stellar performance with England in the Euro campaign, the striker’s ‘shares’ soared and will not be sold even if City manage to secure the services of Grealish and Harry Kane.
