However, whatever results are reached in the Euro campaign this time, he will have to decide on his future with Tottenham Hotpur after the tournament is over.

New Spurs manager Nuno Espirito Santo wants to keep the prolific striker with Manchester City reportedly interested in bringing Kane into the Etihad Stadium.

When asked if he would stay under the new manager, Kane, said: “Every time a new manager comes along, I’m sure everyone will be excited.

“I’m still here and haven’t been in touch with him yet. I need to focus on my assignment with England.

“He’s a great manager and did an excellent job with the Wolves. When he comes back, I’m sure we’ll meet.”
