LONDON: Harry Kane made his first appearance for Tottenham this season as Nuno Espirito Santo’s side beat his former club Wolves 1-0.
Kane was included in the second half of action at Molineux Stadium after the Manchester City striker missed his side’s first two games of the season.
The England captain, who has been frustrated by Spurs’ trophy drought over the past 13 years, is hoping to join City before the transfer deadline later this month.
Tottenham took the lead through Dele Alli’s 10th minute penalty which was fouled by Wolves goalkeeper Jose Sa.
It was Alli’s first league goal since March 2020 after he returned to the main squad under Nuno.
Kane replaced Son Heung-min with 19 minutes left in the game.
