Tuchel Optimistic Neymar Will Ready For Man United

Thomas Tuchel insists Neymar will be ready for Manchester United after Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) star is rested against Nimes.

Neymar was sidelined as PSG won 4-0 at Nimes with Kylian Mbappe scoring twice last Friday.

The Ligue 1 clash came after Neymar scored a Peruvian hat-trick in the World Cup qualifiers in Lima to cross Ronaldo in second place with the top scorer for Brazil.

Tuchel said he had decided to rest the striker and expected Neymar to return when PSG return to the Champions League (UCL) against Manchester United early Wednesday morning.

“Ney did not have any issues, we have discussed the same as I did with Kylian,” he said.

“We have discussed and I decided to relax. He will be with us tomorrow, will train and be ready to face Manchester United.

“He’ll be back on the field, for sure.”
